READING
The STAAR MASTER® product line for Reading includes Student Practice Books, Companion Work Texts, and Practice Tests. Each book in this product line provides literary and informational passage-based practice and review material for the Reading portion of the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness(STAAR®). Students focus on mastering all required skills and build test-taking confidence.
WRITING
The STAAR MASTER® product line for Writing includes Student Practice Books and Practice Tests. Each book in this product line provides practice and review material for the “Revising and Editing”and “Composition” sections of the Writing portion of the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®).
MATH

SCIENCE
The STAAR MASTER® product line for Science consists of Student Practice Books. The books in this product line provide easily relatable practice and review material for the Science portion of the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®). Students apply what they’ve learned during Science instruction while also building test-taking confidence. The Student Practice Books also incorporate investigation and reasoning skills into grade-level appropriate content and items, including “griddable response” items (Grade 8).
SOCIAL STUDIES
The STAAR MASTER® product line for Social Studies consists of Student Practice Books. The books in this product line provide practice and review material for the Social Studies portion of the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®). Due to the breadth of material covered, the items are divided into two books. Volume I covers Reporting Categories 1 & 2, and Volume II covers Reporting Categories 3 & 4. Students can easily focus on mastering all required skills and build test-taking confidence. Teachers can readily address all STAAR®-eligible TEKS, ensure depth of understanding, and provide repeated practice in a variety of contexts.
Digital Overview
Leveraging PREPWORKS® award-winning computer adaptive learning platform, STAAR MASTER® Digital is a unique combination of assessments, instructional activities, and reporting/analytics. These three elements work together to provide prescriptive instruction and increase outcomes for each student. The rigorous alignment to the TEKS, combined with real-time customized reporting, helps teachers ensure coverage and competency in standards and benchmarks throughout the academic year. STAAR MASTER® Digital is fully aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
